Wednesday, February 20th, we went to the National Museum of the US Air Force. We were split in 4 groups of 10, and we visited the museum tracing the history of hundreds of aircrafts.
First, the lady showed us the first fighting aircrafts.
Then, we went to the hangar of the modern aircrafts. We could see a lot of fighting aircrafts, like bombers, recon & fight drones, choppers, gunships…
We also saw nuclear missiles, which were ready to launch during the Cold War.
Finaly, the lady took us to the hangar of the WWII‘s aircrafts.
We saw the bomber which carried the nuclear bomb and let it on Nagasaki.
